Cycle training to be rolled out in Dublin
A cycle training programme, based on the UK bikeability scheme, has been announced by Dublin City Council. School children will be trained in real, on-road traffic situations. Such training has been something DCC has long been arguing for. It has been shown to be one of the most effective way of increasing the level of cycling and the number of children cycling to school.
Adults will also be able to avail of the training programme.
