Spin the City in ‘98
On the last Thursday of each month during the summer the Campaign takes to the streets in the rush-hour traffic to Spin the City. Sometimes this is just a twenty minute tootle around the city streets in the safety of numbers to publicise the Campaign but sometimes it’s a Spin with a Mission. We have long nursed plans of the Spin going out to Sandymount or Phoenix Park and having a picnic but the weather was not conducive to picnics last year, so that didn’t happen. This year, maybe. Anyway, the first Spin the City of 1998 is on March 26, assembling at the Central Bank in Dame Street at 5.30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come along – and bring friends.
