Music-free Room Needed
Due to circumstances not under our control our meetings at Mother Redcaps have been difficult of late as the upstairs room, which we have used in the past, is frequently unavailable. We have tried to hold meetings in a corner of the large and fairly sparsely populated bar but we have to compete with a television set and music coming through ubiquitous loudspeakers from which there is no escape.
Does anyone know of an upstairs room in a pub which the owner would be willing to let us have for free, in exchange for twenty or so people coming in every other Monday night and buying loads of drink? It would need to be city centre-ish and reliable – and not have piped music. Please let us know – the situation is becoming impossible.
