The Dublin Cycling Campaign is an independent, voluntary lobby group that has been working to improve the city for all cyclists for over a decade and a half.
Calling all Cyclists
Calling all Cyclists
well, some at least
Cyclists are invited to do a Midsummer Cycle, Dublin to Kilkenny, and raise a few quid for Focus Ireland, the organisation which gives help and basic services to the homeless in Dublin.
The facts: Cycle Dublin – Kilkenny, 70 miles, on Saturday June 20. Stay the night in Kilkenny – you will get a list of places to stay with prices and you make your own arrangements. Have a bit of a hooley in Kilkenny that night. Focus bus you and your bike back to Dublin next day.
The hopes: See you at the starting point on June 20. If you can’t make it, ask a cycling friend who may be interested. You'll enjoy the weekend in good company. You’ll raise some badly-needed funds for Focus Ireland.
