Cycling is IN this summer in Ireland. You’d want to be very much out of touch if you didn’t already know that the TOUR is a-commin’.
Yes, it may seem strange but the Tour de France actually goes through Dundrum, Co Dublin, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford and Middleton, Co Cork on its way to France.
Long the poor relation in transport terms the humble bicycle has come of age in ‘98. We expect a big increase in the number of people getting on a bike this summer.
The Dublin Cycling Campaign is only too happy to jump on the ‘bandwagon’ (pulled naturally by bikes). We hope to put many of our members out there in among the cycle-friendly crowds and make leaflets and application forms available to the fans of cycling.
