Lobbying- the Cyclist as Citizen

Cyclists are citizens and so are entitled to engage in the democratic process in order to lobby for change in how government and public bodies do or do not do things for cyclists. Lobbying effort is generally directed at Ministers of key departments (Transport, Environment, Justice), local authority elected councillors (TCs) or at constituency TDs or opposition transport spokespersons but public officials may also be lobbied too (such as Director of Services: Roads/Traffic; Road Safety Authority; Garda management; Dublin Transport Authority, National Roads Authority, etc.). All are fair game for ear-bending!
