Dublin Cycling Campaign wins Better Together video competition
The Wheel, an organisation that promotes volunteerism, has awarded the Dublin Cycling Campaign's entry to their "Better Together" video competition a prize of €3,000. Huge thanks to every one of the campaign supporters who voted for the video called "Join Us" during the competition. In order to make the cut, the entry had to be amongst the top 10 highest recipients of unique votes. The winning entry was then selected from the final shortlist by a panel of independent judges.
The awards were announced in the Convention Centre Dublin on December the 1st 2011 and some of the members of the campaign were delighted to be able to collect the prize. There were a lot of very hard working voluntary organisations participating so it was a great and quite humbling honour.
