Bicycle parking installed at Coolmine recycling centre

At a recent Fingal County Council meeting Cllr Daniel Whooley proposed a motion for improved cycling facilities at the Coolmine recycling center in Dublin 15. The motion was passed unanimously and there was great support from Cllr Walsh and Cllr O’Mahony saying it makes sense and it was a very car centric facility. Cllr Conroy added that the entrance may need to be adjusted to cater for access for both pedestrians and cyclists. The ramps and barriers in a confined space make it hostile to vulnerable road users. The operations dept have already installed bike parking at the recycling center. Send in photos if you get a chance to use Large traffic queues can be seen on the weekend of cars trying to access the centre. This may alleviate these issues and promote access for all road users. The motion is discussed at 1:48:35 in the video link provided below.
