What is the Dublin Cycling Campaign?
The Dublin Cycling Campaign is an independent voluntary lobby group, working for the last decade and a half to improve the city for all cyclists.We want to make the streets safer for cyclists and to increase public awareness of the benefits of cycling.
We want to see a quantum increase in the use of the bike for commuting to school, college and workplace, recognising that a 'critical mass' of cyclists in traffic leads inevitably to safer streets.
Safer streets for cyclists are also safer streets for pedestrians and lead to nicer cities for all.
We are represented on the Strategic Policy Committees in Dublin City and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Councils.
We're nominated as a consultative body in the Government's National Cycle Policy Framework
