Davy - Cycle Safety Talk

The latest company in Dublin to invite in Dublin Cycling Campaign and Cyclist.ie to give a talk on cycling safety were Davy, an independent finance and investment company. The company has a significant share of its staff cycling in to their offices on Dawson Street, so there was a wealth of questions ready to be posed on the subject of safe urban cycling.

Drs. Mike McKillen and Damien Ó Tuama (both pictured above) gave the lunchtime presentation on 25th September 2019 and it covered key areas of cycling safety such as road traffic legislation, the nature of the urban road environment and understanding how to avoid the most common cycle collision types. The presentation also covered some of the latest developments around infrastructural plans for cycling in Dublin city.

We want to thank the staff of Davy sincerely for inviting us in and for all of the many interesting points and questions raised during the talk.

If you work in a company and would like to avail of Dublin Cycling Campaign / Cyclist.ie’s services in regard to providing cycling safety talks, contact us any time.
