Dublin Cycling Campaign CLG Organisation Restructure - EGM 19 April 8pm

Extraordinary General Meeting Wednesday 19th April at 8.00 pm

Over the past two-and-a-half years the Board of the Dublin Cycling Campaign CLG (incorporating Cyclist.ie) has been working on a restructuring plan for the organisation. The purpose of this is to simplify the existing structure and enable future growth of the campaign at a national level.

The result of this work, which included much valuable consultation with and feedback from our members, was put to the membership by the Board for approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on the 19th April 2023 at 8pm online where members voted to adopt our new constitution and a new name for the national campaign. Those eligible to vote at the EGM were:

  • Any paid up member of Dublin Cycling Campaign (Two individual votes per family membership)
  • Any individual member of Cyclist.ie
  • One representative per Cyclist.ie group (Note: as only one vote per person* is allowed this cannot be an individual member. Groups must be paid up)
  • One representative per business member group (Note: as only one vote per person* is allowed this cannot be an individual member)
  • Only members attending the EGM
  • A register of eligible voters will be taken and agreed on at the start of the EGM
  • *If there is a tied vote the chair will have a casting vote
