Dublin Cycling Campaign is kicking off its 2020 social calendar with a night out to see the fabulous electric duo of Ben Prevo and Ed Deane playing in the Four Provinces pub in Kimmage!

It all happens on Saturday 11th of January and doors open at 8.30pm. All of our members and supporters are invited along for a informal social night out. Tickets are €14 on the door or €12 if you reserve them in advance via www.musiclee.ie.

Ben Prevo is an everyday bicycle user and long-time member of Dublin Cycling Campaign. As per the www.musiclee.ie website, he hails originally from New York, and is a guitarist and vocalist who has combined his influences of country, rock, jazz, blues & psychedelia into an unique melange. The material is varied — vocal and instrumental selections – covers and original compositions – all delivered with integrity and soul. Ben will be playing with Ed Deane on the night. Over the years Ed has worked with saxophonist and harmonica player Eamonn Murray, keyboard player James Delaney, bass players Chris Mayfield and Javier Garcia, and drummers Fran Byrne and Chris Hunt. He toured with shows headlined by artists such as B.B. King, Frankie Miller and Terry Woods, and has appeared on record with Miller, Dana Gillespie, Dave Kelly, Graham Parker and Bob Pearce. Guests on the night will be singer songwriter Claire Bonass and storyteller Billy O’Hanluain - another regular bicycle user in and around Dublin city!

This is the first of several more informal social events we will be taking part in and running in 2020 for our members and supporters. We have a new Dublin Cycling Campaign Events Coordinator on board - Suzanne Lindsay - and we look forward to organising and participating in a diverse array of events in 2020.
