Sign up to participate in Brigit's Festival Parade 2026
Brigit by Bike is a pageant in the festival parade as part of Brigit: Dublin City Celebrating Women, an initiative supported by Dublin City Council.
The parade will take place on Sunday 1st February, from 3.30pm to 6pm starting at the Bolton Street end of Capel Street in the city centre.
Brigit by Bike is created by Artist Donna Cooney working with Dublin Cycling Campaign. Donna has worked on other pageants for the Dublin Cycling Campaign presence in St. Patrick’s Day Parade since 2018 including those themed around ‘The Freedom Machine’, ‘Joyce-Cycle’ and ‘Bikes and Biodiversity’.
This is the third Brigit’s Parade with up to 60 participants on bicycles featuring front and centre in the parade. The parade will also include 50 roller skaters, wheelers, walkers and dancers.
