Community Gardens around Dublin

Come and Help Us! Volunteer Marshals Needed!
Join us once again on our wonderful cycling odyssey through a selection of Dublin’s Community Gardens, meet its members and join a talk on rewilding for biodiversity with native wildflowers About this event Following the two year gap due to the pandemic, we are delighted that the wonderful Community Gardens Cycle (previously called Food Cycle) will be back for Dublin Cycling Campaign’s BikeWeek.

Date and Time: Saturday 21st May from 10:30am northside and 11am southside to 4:00pm

As in the past cyclists have the option of two routes, one beginning northside the other southside. Both routes will converge on Mucky Lane Eco Garden, Collins Avenue, Donnycarney, to enjoy some refreshments, meet and talk and listen to Aaron Foley, Ecologist, who will give a talk about “Rewilding for Biodiversity with Native Wildflowers and Herbs” and show many examples in Mucky Lane or in the close-by open space “The Piggery”.

You are welcome to join at any point of the route, for as long as you like, or just come along for the talk, and to meet fellow advocates, garden lovers and campaigners.

But ideally, as a Cycle Campaign member, we would love you to help out on the day as a volunteer marshal. Please consider helping out as a cycling marshal, by adding your name and contact details to this Volunteer List
