Monday, 14 October 2013 (All day)
Central Hotel, Exchequer Street, Dublin 2. 1st Floor

Jason Frehill, Dublin City Council’s project manager of the dublinbikes scheme, discussed the dublinbikes schemes introduction and its success to date. With a dublinbikes expansion contract recently signed between Dublin City Council and JCDecaux, Jason also outlined the proposed expansion plans. This will provide for 58 new bike stations and a trebling of the scheme’s capacity, with the expanded service becoming fully operational in Summer 2014. Jason has worked in Dublin City Council for 10 years as a town planner and is currently working in the Strategic Projects Section of Dublin City Council’s Planning Department. Jason has responsibility for the design and delivery of the proposed dublinbikes expansion which will commence construction in the coming weeks.
