**Fitzwilliam Cycle Route – Public Information Evening
Monday 25th February 2019 6.30pm-8pm, Wood Quay Venue, Civic Offices, Dublin 8 **

Here is your chance to show support for the simple but wonderful Fitzwilliam Cycle Route. Come along to the public presentation on Monday evening next! Cyclists need to support this proposal.

The proposed Fitzwilliam Cycle Route Georgian Quarter scheme consists of a 1km cycle route extending from Leeson Street to Mount Street Lower along Fitzwilliam Place, Fitzwilliam Street and Merrion Square East, as shown in the images above.

The existing road layout will be reconfigured to provide a parking protected cycle lane on both sides of the road delivering a cycle route that caters for cyclists of all ages and abilities. The scheme will include the reconfiguration of car parking spaces, provide increased cycle parking and deliver pedestrian improvements. The scheme will also incorporate the upgrade and redesign of the junctions along the route.

Dublin City Council invite members of the public to attend a presentation on the detailed design of the scheme, which has been developed with consideration of the non-statutory public consultation submissions received, on Monday 25th February from 6.30pm to 8pm in the Wood Quay Venue, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8.
