Liffey Cycle Protest

Sunday, 9 September 2018 (All day)
Grand Canal Square, 11am

WHAT DO WE WANT? THE LIFFEY CYCLE ROUTE! WHEN DO WE WANT IT? NOW!!!

The next Liffey Cycle protest takes place on Sunday 9th September. Get on your bike and join hundreds of fellow cyclists as we cycle en masse through Dublin city centre to demand a safe Liffey Cycle Route.

Cyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us for this family-friendly demonstration in support of safe cycling conditions in Dublin.

Please invite your friends, family, colleagues, and local representatives to come along for the cycle too - anyone who supports safe cycling in Dublin is welcome, whether they cycle regularly themselves or not!

We’ll meet at Grand Canal Square, just in front of the Bord Gais Theatre, and set off at 11am. The cycle will take in a loop of the Liffey Quays and the City Centre before finishing up again back at Grand Canal Square.

Please contact your local councillors and invite them to join us for the Liffey Cycle protest and to support the Liffey Cycle Route!

We’ve created a letter/email template which you can find here and you can find the contact info for your local city councillors here.

Please also join the Facebook event and share it with your friends.
