Mobility Week 2013 - Re-Discover Dublin on Two Wheels!

Monday, 9 September 2013 (All day)
Central Hotel, Exchequer Street, Dublin 2. 1st Floor

Our September meeting will have an alternative format to recent sessions as we’ll have four separate (superb!) speakers giving an insight into what Dublin Cycling Campaign are doing during European Mobility Week (which begins on Monday 16th September). If you are new to cycling advocacy in Dublin, this will be the perfect meeting to pop along to and meet some of our active volunteers who may need extra help over the next week or two!

Aimee Van Wylick, coordinator of Dublin Culture Night - Aimee will outline the vast array of events for Culture Night (20th Sept) and the variety of mobility options to get to events.

Eoin Bairéad, coordinator of Dublin Cycling Campaign’s ‘Parking Day’ events, will give a brief outline on Park(ing) Day, and the need for ideas and volunteers. The image below is from our 2012 space on Molesworth Street.

James Maher, coordinator of Dublin Cycling Camapign’s ‘Golden Pedal’ competition for businesses, will give a brief update on progress in this competition. The award will be presented during Mobility Week.

Mike McKillen, chair of Cyclist.ie - Ireland’s National Cycling Lobby Organisation, will speak briefly about the visit of a speaker from ADFC, the German Cycle Advocacy organisation (with nearly 140,000 members) to Dublin and Tralee.
