Welcome Velo-city delegates to stay with you
Help make Velo-city Dublin be as inclusive as possible for delegates from other countries by registering a spare room with WarmShowers.org.
WarmShowers.org is like AirBnB for cyclists except that it is completely free. What initially started as a US idea has now spread around the globe. During a recent long-distance cycle tour from Canada to Panama, Michelle (Campaign member) stayed with 37 different hosts. In some houses she was offered her own bedroom, dinner and a beer. In others she was offered a place to pitch her tent and a clothes line to hang washing. What was always guaranteed was kindness.
Some delegates from NGO and advocacy groups have been in touch with the Campaign saying that the cost of accommodation in Dublin is potentially preventing them from travelling to the Velo-city conference (June 25-28).
We are reaching out to Dublin-based members to log onto
and create a profile for the duration of the conference.
Let’s offer delegates a real Irish welcome.
